The designation date is April 18, 1985, and the official extent note reads One block-long and comprised of the Drake Hotel, 999 N. Jean-Baptiste Pointe DuSable Lake Shore Dr.; 179-229 E. Jean-Baptiste Pointe DuSable Lake Shore Dr.; and the park north of Lake Shore Dr. 1912-1929; various architects.
