1. Ownership of Site Materials
Urban Lithograph owns or controls the original site writing, original research presentation, platform design, branding, and the selection and arrangement of archive materials created for the service, except where another rights holder is identified.
Referenced historical sources, maps, photographs, public records, and other third-party materials may remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.
2. Limited Use of Urban Lithograph Content
- You may read, cite, and reference Urban Lithograph for personal, editorial, educational, research, or internal institutional use, subject to applicable law and fair-use principles where they apply.
- You may not republish, scrape, mirror, mass-download, sell, license, or systematically reproduce substantial portions of the service without permission.
- Nothing in this policy grants rights in third-party content beyond what applicable law already allows.
3. User Submissions
If you upload or submit text, images, workspace materials, comments, or other content, you represent that you own it or have permission to submit it and to grant the rights needed for Urban Lithograph to host and use it as part of the service.
Urban Lithograph may remove material that appears to infringe rights, violate the Terms of Use, or create unacceptable legal risk.
4. Sending a Copyright Complaint
If you believe material on Urban Lithograph infringes your copyright, send a written notice through the contact page or by email. Include enough detail for a good-faith review.
- Your name and contact information.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you want reviewed or removed, including the relevant URL or page location.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, the law, or applicable exception.
- A statement that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder, if applicable.
5. Review and Response
Urban Lithograph may investigate, request more information, remove or disable access to challenged material, or take other reasonable action while a complaint is reviewed.
If a dispute appears to involve mistake, misidentification, fair use, authorization, or another valid defense, Urban Lithograph may seek additional information before deciding what action to take.
6. Repeat Infringement and Account Action
Urban Lithograph may suspend or terminate accounts or submission privileges for repeated or serious copyright violations, or for other misuse that creates copyright risk.
7. DMCA Note
If Urban Lithograph elects to rely on formal U.S. DMCA designated-agent procedures, this page should be updated with the official designated-agent contact details reflected in the U.S. Copyright Office system.
