The designation date is December 12, 2007, and the official extent note reads Predominantly 4500-, 4600- and 4700-blocks of N. Dover St.; and four properties located at 4742-4754 N. Beacon St.; 1893-1927; various architects and builders. Dover Street District preserves a frame large enough for street layout and parcel rhythm, contributing buildings and shared fabric, and district-scale preservation decisions to be read together.
