The Patio's repair campaign is encouraging, but reopening still depends on completed work, inspections, programming, and a sustainable operator.
Scaffolding at the Patio Theater marks more than cosmetic work. A March permit authorized tuckpointing and masonry repairs as the 1927 atmospheric house works toward reopening after another interrupted operating period.

Scaffolding is a preservation milestone, not yet an opening night.
Tuckpointing and facade masonry work began after issuance of the repair permit and installation of scaffolding.
The work addresses a building-envelope need essential to protecting the atmospheric interior.
Permit completion, inspections, announced events, ticket sales, mechanical reliability, and a confirmed reopening date remain the decisive signals.
The theater should remain classified as under repair until public operation is verified.
